Welcome to this site (this “Site”), which is owned and operated by echomusic, LLC (“echomusic”). echomusic has created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) in order to demonstrate and inform you, the user, of our firm commitment to privacy. The following Policy describes how we collect, protect and use information we receive from visitors to this Site and with respect to e-mail lists, message boards, street teams, contests, surveys and communities (the “Service”).
About the Information We Collect
• echomusic is hired by artists, artist managers, entertainment companies and music labels to run official street teams, mailing lists and fan clubs. echomusic collects personal information when you join one of these official street teams, mailing lists or fan clubs. echomusic also collects personal information when you enter one of our echomusic sponsored contests or promotions.
• An echomusic signup can be found on an artist's website, at an unofficial artist website ("Affiliate Site" or "Fan Site"), at echomusic.com or at a 3rd party location on the Internet. An echomusic list can always be identified by the words "Powered by echomusic" at the bottom of the signup form.
o Mailing Lists: For an artist's Mailing List, echomusic collects your information so that you can receive information about an artist's specific events, such as album release dates; songs being played on radio stations and video outlets; and tour and media appearance.
o Street Team: For an artist's online Street Team, echomusic collects your information so that you can receive both news and directions on how to help promote an artist. If you are joining a street team, you will be asked additional information throughout the period of time that echomusic runs the artist's official street team. This information may include feedback on the artist as well as information on how you helped promote the artist online. You may also be asked information pertaining to your trends and tendencies such as purchasing or viewing habits. You are not required to answer any of these questions. If you consistently do not answer survey questions or respond to any of the street team missions, you may be dropped from the team. Understand that this is solely to keep the team active and accurate.
o Contests, Giveaways and Promotions: Regarding contests and promotions, echomusic collects specific demographic information in order to enter a person into the contest and ultimately enable them a chance to win a given prize. Occasionally, your information is passed on to partners of echomusic that have contributed to prizing or participation of the contests and promotions. Please check the contest rules when entering a contest for exact information about the sharing of this data.
o Fan Clubs: For fan clubs, echomusic collects purchasing information that allows us to process the monetary transaction necessary for purchase of a membership. This is a secure transaction that includes the processing of a credit card.
• The basic information we gather includes name, address, age, email address and phone number so that we have an idea of the makeup of the membership.
• The Service may allow users to join an online community of fans or users, participate in contests, receive information or news from echomusic or its clients, access exclusive content on the web or act on behalf of a client as a member of a Street Team. To use the Service, we may require that you create a login name and account. During the registration process, you will be asked to complete a registration form which may request certain personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, phone number, address, age and e-mail address. Other than the information you provide in the registration form or any message board, contest or online store managed by echomusic, we will not collect or maintain any other personally identifiable information about you.
• Scattered throughout the Site are links or forms that can be used to contact echomusic so you can comment, make suggestions and ask questions. Your email address is required on this form so we can answer your questions, and we want your name, too, so we can address our answer in a mannerly way. echomusic may put information from email on file, but does not currently share, sell, license or transmit this information with third parties without express authorization from you.
• When you enter an echomusic list signup or web page, we receive and record information automatically such as your IP address, your browser, cookie information and the pages you continue on to. echomusic may from time to time retain third parties to help us collect and aggregate Site information.
o IP Address: An IP address is a unique string of numbers that is assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Site, avoid hacking attacks on the echomusic server and may use it to gather broad demographic information.
o Cookies: As is the case with many web sites, our Site uses a technology called “cookies”, which are small data files that are downloaded onto your computer. The use of cookies is standard on the Internet and allows us to tailor your visits to our Site to your individual preferences. echomusic does not use cookies to retrieve information from a computer that is unrelated to the Site. o Computer Settings: echomusic may gather technical and other information related generally to users’ use of the Service and Site including (a) the number of emails sent, street team activities, sales and messages posted, (b) elements of the Service that are most often used and (c) other information relating to a user’s operation of the Services, such as information relating to operating systems, connectivity and various communication parameters. This information, which will be collected and maintained in aggregate, anonymous form, will not be linked to any personally identifiable information.
Our Use of the Information You Provide
• Anonymous Information: echomusic uses anonymous information gathered through the Site and the Service internally for Site administration, troubleshooting and to help improve the quality of the Site and the Service. We may share such aggregated, non-personally identifiable information, such as demographics, to (a) provide echomusic with a better understanding of how users use the Service and the various features, (b) help echomusic to create and provide new services and offerings to users and (c) market aggregate, anonymous data with existing and prospective business partners and advertisers. We never connect aggregate information with personally identifiable information, and none of the aggregate information we share will contain any information that identifies you individually.
• Personally Identifiable Information: Except as necessary to perform the functions of the Service, echomusic will not sell or lease any personally identifiable information about you to any unaffiliated third party for any purpose without your permission. From time to time, our advertising and promotional partners may desire to use your registration and other information to call to your attention to promotions and offers they believe might interest you. Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy

For that reason, we do not collect or maintain information obtained through our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our Site is structured to attract anyone under 13. Choice and Opt-Out
When you sign up for the Service, we automatically place you on our email newsletter list to receive email newsletters sent by echomusic with regard to echomusic and echomusic's affiliates. At any time you can unsubscribe, correct or update your information pertaining to our newsletters by sending an email to unsubscribe@theechoplex.com or by clicking on the “edit your subscriptions” link at the bottom of emails that you receive. Requests to be unsubscribed will be processed immediately; however, you may receive additional newsletters for up to 10 days. Delays may occur if the email address information you provide us does not match the information in our database.
Although many users indicate that they welcome emails about echomusic, as well as products and services provided by our business partners and advertisers, we support the right of our visitors to choose.
